. Holiday Villas Northern Italy  The area around the Villa is beautiful natural countryside, forming the foothills of the Apennines. Our local village Borla is a few minutes drive, or a 15 minute walk. Get some fresh bread from the bakery every morning!

IWe are centrally located in Northern Italy, around 30 minutes drive to transport hub at Fidenza, with access to a very expansive motorway network, and high speed train links to Milan, Florence, Rome etc.

We have numerous medieval castles (our local one at Vigoleno is clearly visible from the Villa. Other locals include Castell’ Arquato, Bardi, Fonatanellato etc).

[Venture further afield to Verona (two hours door to door) and see the Roman amphitheater, or better still catch the open air opera during the summer season.

[Get to the Med, and visit the Cinque Terre. Beautiful scenery

A good day trip.

Another excellent day trip is to visit prestige motor factories in Bologna and Modena. Start with Ducati in Bologna; then head back through Modena and visit both Ferrari & Lambourghini.

Milan offers fantastic shopping, the Duomo, La Scala for opera lovers and many museums. Make a good day of it. We recommend taking the train - gets you right into the centre.

Parma, our local city, offers many palaces, gardens, shopping, food and a fantastic museum. See the 17th century Farnese wooden opera theatre, plus a Da Vinci painting

Bologna is a city not to be missed. Fantastic architecture, many shops and real history. Visit the piazza, the Duomo, the palaces, museums and local bars and restaurants. Holiday Villas Northern Italy.
